Advertising-Media Management

Humber’s Advertising – Media Management graduate certificate program will teach you how to research and analyze your marketplace and target audience in order to propose the best and most creative media solutions to meet client advertising goals. Business Administration Co-op - 3 year Advanced Diploma

Humber’s Business Administration Co-op program is designed so students earn while they learn. It’s offered in a co-operative education model at our Lakeshore Campus. The program requires students to complete two work semesters, one at the end of year one and one at the end of year two. During their work terms students gain valuable business experience, develop industry connections, and try out different types of jobs before making a major career commitment. Business elective courses offer program flexibility and the opportunity for students to specialize.

Graduates of the Business Administration Co-op program will have the benefit of a high-quality, broad-based business education with a strong foundation in accounting, finance, human resource administration, management, operations, business systems and marketing. The students are well-equipped to take on a wide variety of positions in a variety of areas including customer service, marketing, marketing research and sales, purchasing, human resource administration, product and account management, event planning, accounting and financial planning and budget analysis.

Participating employers are also eligible for the Ontario Co-operative Education Tax Credit.

This is a refundable tax credit for businesses that hire students enrolled in a recognized post-secondary co-operative education program. It reimburses business 25% of eligible expenditures up to a maximum tax credit of $3,000 for each qualifying co-op placement. Event Management

This is one of the most comprehensive event management programs available. Graduates of this program will develop and implement financial initiatives, co-ordinate and manage sites and facilities, program events, and apply marketing, human resource management, operations management and business administration principles. Additionally, you will gain hands-on experience in event management practices such as planning, design, marketing, fundraising/sponsorship, budgeting, risk management, event evaluation and much more. This program also includes a work placement to give you practical experience that employers demand. Program faculty are chosen for their expertise and experience in the event management field, and many continue to work in the industry.

The Global Business Management program gives you a wide choice of careers and the time to decide.
